BBC News Title Sequence

This opening title sequence is owned by the BBC and has being created specifically for news about schools in the country. The sequence opens with a white background then we begin to see 2d circles entering on screen separately switching from left to right. As the circles come together we see what looks like the world map then a 3d image of the word is shown before the end as the title credits come on screen as the BBC news logo appears in the bottom left corner of the screen.

This sequence has be in created using CGI and motion graphics. Each image has being digitally created using layers then superimposed over the top of one another to create one image as we see the world coming together. As different colours are introduced rendering has being used as we see the contrast between the matte red and slightly shiny translucent yellow both of which are prime colours and stand out against the white background. The overall image we see almost has 0% opacity as we are able to see through the different layers (shapes) to create one visual image. As the sequence has being made for television it has a standard screen ratio of 4;3.
