This Sequence has being created for the BBC for the programme Match Of The Day a show which shows all of the Highlights from Premiere League Games played on that day. The Sequence has being created to allow the audience to know what to expect from the programme and appeal to it's target audience attracting viewers. In this sequence we see the camera zoom out as the pages of a football magazine appear to be turning by themselves until the magazines shuts and an over head shot of several different football programmes layed on top of each other. We then see real life footage of Manchester United Lining up in the tunnel as the camera zooms to focus on Wayne Rooney. The footage then cuts to old footage from previous years on a football pitch as a game is about to begin the footage then cuts back to more modern footage of Manchester United star Vidic on the football pitch, this image is then taken as the camera zooms out and we see this image on the back of a news paper as a young boy clutches it. Old footage is then used again some in black and white as the setting changes and appears to be shot in an old fashioned living room as we see Phillip Neville on the telly we then see the real footage in colour cutting back to see more modern footage as a continuous montage of different clips taken from modern games are played. There is then a continuous change from old footage to modern taken both on the pitch as we see celebration and fans outside different footballs stadiums on match day. The sequence ends as we see Manchester United lifting the Premier League Trophie and again the camera zooms out and we see this image in a magazine as it begins to close the sequence ends with the programmes logo a football with the programmes name written in the middle as it appears to be sitting in the sky.

This sequence has being made using CGI and animation combined with professional software such as Photoshop or Illustrator to create images. As the sequence opens a comic book sketch effect is created as though we are reading a football comic. This image will have being created using digital imagery on the computer using graphical software. As  we see the pages turn animation has being used to create the illusion of movement.  As the camera then cuts we see real life footage taken from premier leage games that has being edited and effects used to slightly blur the footage. At this point the footage appears in colour although changes to black and white adjusting the opacity of the footage.  As the footage changes bck to black and white CGI is then used to create a maniolated image that again gives the impression that the image we are seeing is part of a newspaper this will hav being graphically created and animates creating the illusion of movment. A continuous montage of shots is then used of already excisting footage from previous football matches, a seies of quick cuts has being used also it appears a slight blur effect has being used over the footage.
